While traveling in New England recently, we spent an evening at a little movie theater seeing a charming film, Moonrise Kingdom. The theater itself provided us with unexpected entertainment.

It had a raked floor and, not surprisingly, wheelchair spaces were found in the rear row of the theater. My teen was delighted to find that there were also seating platforms down about halfway down the aisle on either side as well. While not fully compliant, it was a pleasure to get a choice of where we could sit in this auditorium.

What do you think?  Is this an inclusive solution to a barrier or not?
