Blue skies over Lake Union

These days, it seems I’m rarely at my desk for long and when I’m there, I am in “head down, working hard” mode. Today, I was startled when I looked up and out the window — the sun is out and the Lake is looking lovely. My office is at the end of a boat shed, perched over lots of run-abouts and overlooking the luxury yachts other people drool over. I don’t look out much in the winter, all you see is drizzle and gray.

But, today I’m struck with that “summer is coming” elation!
