There is no testing or certification process for whether a product or fixture meets the accessibility code/standard requirements – and in most cases, a fixture, like a lav or sink, is only accessible if mounted at a correct height, with correct clearances, etc. Unfortunately, sometimes products are incorrectly labeled.
Always review the exact dimensions of any product specified and compare to the specific installation situation. Worse case scenario: same product installed over and over in high-rise toilet rooms or multi-family dwelling units could be non-compliant. Acck!
